Ryan has a background rooted in athletics. Growing up he played competitive Lacrosse and competed at the Division 1 level in the NCAA. He went on to compete on the Men’s Lacrosse team at Marquette University in Milwaukee Wisconsin.
On his career path Ryan began by studying Human Kinetics (Kinesiology) and graduated from UBCO. He then went on to work as a Kinesiologist.
Through Ryan’s exposure to various forms of therapy from personal experiences dealing with injuries and what he had encountered thus far in his career, Ryan decided to make a career shift into Massage Therapy and hasn’t looked back. In his words, “Massage can have an incredible benefit on an individual’s health and wellness” He believes his experiences and prior degree in Kinesiology will add to the value of his Massage practice. Ryan’s goals in the field of Massage Therapy are to continue to learn and grow as a Therapist. The more experience, the better! He does see his practice heading in the direction of injury rehabilitation, however his passion will always be helping people foster a healthy, functional lifestyle.
