
Edith is a Certified Canadian Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association, and a Registered Social Worker (RSW) with the British Columbia College of Social Workers. She holds a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Queensland (Australia) and a Master of Education in Counselling Psychology from Simon Fraser University.
With over 10 years experience Edith takes a holistic, genuine and compassionate approach to provide trauma-informed, emotion-focused, and body-orientated talk therapy. As such, Edith draws from a wide range of therapeutic approaches and will work collaboratively to find the right approach that works best for you. Her areas of practice include and not limited to: Anxiety, Career Decision Making, Depression, Emotional Regulation, Guilt and Shame, Life Transitions, Relationship Conflict, Self Harm, Sexual Violence, Suicide, and Trauma.
Edith has also completed training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Level 1 Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
