Audrey is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with Inlet Wellness Gallery offering individual and couples therapy, both online and in-person. She offers evidence-based and trauma informed therapy that is centered on healing the nervous system and has specialized training in both EMDR and couples therapy. Audrey also offers cognitive behavioural therapy, narrative and/or solution-focused therapy.
Audrey has over 7 years of experience in the healthcare industry and training in both the physical and mental health domains. She has developed a well-rounded and holistic approach to treatment, offering clients the space to explore their own challenges and strengths without judgement. Audrey invites anyone who is struggling to seek out support regardless of their religion, sexual orientation, family history or other values and belief systems.
Audrey is a graduate of Yorkville University’s Master of Counselling Psychology program and has previously completed 4 years of undergraduate education before attaining a Bachelor of Science at the University of Guelph. She has also completed a degree in paramedicine and worked as a Paramedic for three years, leaving the profession to pursue further training in preventative health and becoming a Registered Health and Nutrition coach and a personal trainer. She had the privilege to provide health and wellness coaching to hundreds of individuals as part of the Canadian Diabetes Prevention Program and other national studies such as the CREST2 trial. Before diving in full time to counselling, Audrey also spent time working with individuals with severe schizophrenia in a group home setting.
In her spare time, Audrey loves to hike, rock climb, do yoga and will rarely pass up the opportunity for a camping trip in the mountains.
